Plywood or packing plywood in particular considered to be a creation of the technical wood industry because of their physical and multi-application. Although made of a combination of thin natural wood, it still has good hardness and bearing strength. It’s not prone to shrinkage, termite or chapped by different weather conditions. Furthermore, using plywood is more economical than natural wood. If natural wood requires the use of perennial wood, diameter large enough to form a product, the plywood is different. The technology of plywood production allows to use all kinds of wood which are considered small wood, which can not make large panels. Therefore, plywood is always cheaper than natural wood.
The advantage of packing plywood is that for the same size as natural wood but the plywood is much lighter and still have high durability, the surface is completely smooth as well. Moreover, plywood has a variety of colors and surface materials.
In terms of specifications, packing plywood is usually produced in the most common dimensions: 1220mm x 2440mm (plywood 4’x8′) and flexible thickness from 2mm to over 30mm depending on purpose of users. They usually use MR to glue layers. The core is mainly used wood such as acacia, eucalyptus, mix etc.
Packing plywood is divided into 3 different quality levels: AA, AB, BC. Depending on the purpose, consumers will choose suitable packing plywood, right as they need and save money as well.
